Children of the Sun - key art, horizontal

Children of the Sun(2024), is an inaugural wide-screen film for Lowell Observatory's just-completed  Astronomy Discovery Center in Flagstaff, Arizona. Produced and directed by Alexander Low, Children of the Sun is an ultra-high definition high-frame-rate production for a state-of-the-art dual-screen system with 100-foot-wide wrap-around LED screen.

Through the words and work of astronomer Dr Tyler Richey-Yowell, the film invites viewers to consider the possibility of discovering life on other worlds at the same time as it introduces visitors to the Lowell Discovery Telescope and the institution's remarkable century and-a-quarter of astronomy research.
